SITTING ON THE GHOST OF DESIGN

This table line has its starting point in the philosophy of Social Design: That a social material exists that is as physical as steel and the chair on which you are sitting. This social material is portrayed as comprising a number of combined fields, since the social is a flexible material the figure is the same. Thus it has flexible boundaries so the figure can always take on a new form, similar to the situations it creates. The table top is inspired by this idea and made for different social situations - like the one that unfolds around a coffee table or at a meeting.
The flexibility is also in the possibility of place several tables of the same type together if you want to have a larger table surface.
