In contemporary art, that space covers a large and diverse subject area wherein art develops new forms independently of current conventions. In turn, these new forms, or principles, then rewrite the realities from which they originated.

Since the ‘60s, I have undertaken a number of projects- happenings activities, objects, installations, sculptures and community service-meant to be understood in this context. During this time I developed a number of forms and models of perception.

One of them is termed ATYPIA, which I have applied to a number of works since 2004, including this candle sculpture series.
